Brad Russell


Brad Russell is a seasoned ESL teacher with international and domestic experience ranging from pre-school to adult students, from beginner to advanced levels, working with general English, business English and exam preparation (e.g. IELTS). He holds multiple ESL certifications from the University of Cambridge (Cambridge, England). He is currently the ELD Coordinator for Mapleton Public Schools, a highly diverse school district in the north Denver suburbs, actively applying WIDA's philosophy and materials to improve the district's ELD services for all students.

He has conducted professional development workshops on English language development standards, instructional differentiation, as well as the administration of the W-APT, and ACCESS for ELLs assessments.

Brad seeks to build capacity within each organization he collaborates with, whether it be at the student, teacher or administrator level. He strives to provide individualized professional development that is relevant, clear and engaging.
